Rashane Hamby

Rashane Hamby is a native of Kansas City, Kansas. She boasts years of experience in policy work, holding roles with esteemed organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union of Kansas (ACLU-KS), School Smart Kansas City (Kansas City Action Fund), The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, and the Kansas Democratic Party.
She has earned degrees in Urban Studies and a Master of Public Administration, both from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Beyond her professional commitments, Rashane serves as a dedicated parent facilitator and Senior Advisor for the Parent Leadership Training Institute-Kansas City (PLTI-KC), where she passionately empowers parents and communities. In her personal life, Rashane takes great pride in being a loving and devoted mother to a remarkable teenage son.
