Denesha Snell

Denesha Snell, a native of Kansas City, is a versatile professional with a rich background in community engagement and public service. Her career spans almost three decades, during which she has held diverse roles with organizations such as the Kansas City, MO Health Department and the Kansas City, MO School District.
Denesha has demonstrated her commitment to addressing critical societal issues throughout her career. Her expertise extends to areas such as parent advocacy, school choice, public health, addressing health disparities, community health's economic impact, violence prevention through effective communication, and enhancing organizational relationships with community and civic partners.
Currently serving as the Senior Adviser for Civic Leadership with Parent Leadership Training Institute in Kansas City, Denesha is dedicated to empowering parents/caregivers and fostering community leadership.
Denesha received her undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University and her Master's in Education from Rockhurst University. Beyond her professional pursuits, Denesha is the proud mother of two daughters aged 25 and 18!
